Mini LED vs OLED: light control and room choices

Mini LED uses small LEDs to light an LCD panel in dimming zones. OLED pixels produce their own light. The difference is zone-based backlighting versus individual pixel light control.

A bright object beside a dark area can reveal the limits of a backlight zone: light may extend around the object. OLED controls light at each pixel. How visible this difference is depends on content, settings, room conditions and the exact model.

Is Mini LED also QLED?

It can be. Mini LED describes the backlight; QLED describes quantum-dot color in an LCD television. They are compatible features. OLED describes a different light-producing mechanism.
